Anyone tried this? Either as a whole song or in parts?
Sorry if this has been covered before. I searched beatbuddy in the forum and nothing other than using jamstix to replace a beatbuddy came up (understandable). Using JS4, in Reaper, in Windows.
Thanks ! |

Hi, I'm not familiar with the Beatbuddy (I actually just looked it up after reading your post) but as long as you can load external midi files into it, it should work. If it is using GM format it shouldn't be difficult at all. If it isn't, you will have to figure out what mapping they are using.
EDIT: I just checked a little further and Beatbuddy does use GM files so it should be no problem. |

Thanks a_z! for your interest and quick response. I'll dig into it.
