Hi anyone tried Jamstix4 with this cymbal collection?

I have never used Jamstix with another program so I am not entirely sure how you do it properly.
These cymbals have 5 articulations each. Can I get Jamstix to play them while keeping the rest of the kit?

I have been experimenting by loading a kit, then changing the midi note assign, of a kit piece and saving it as another name. Is this the right way to do it?

Can I somehow add my own articulation names to Jamstix to match these?
For example, the hi hat has Top, Side, Bell, Close, Splash. Jamstix, doesn't seem to have an articulation for hi hat bell, though it does for crash and ride.

Can anyone give me any pointers on how to match them up?

You would do this:

- route the MIDI output of Jamstix to the Cymbalistic plugin in your DAW

- for each cymbal you want to have played in Cymbalistic, set the sound in Jamstix to 'MIDI Output Only' and the MIDI key to match the key Cymbalistic expects.

For crash/china/splash cymbals there is only one articulation in Jamstix, ride has edge and bell and hihat has 5 openness stages, 3 shank stages, foot close and foot splash.

Thanks Ralph. I figured I might have to spread cymbalistic articulations across a couple of Jamstix cymbals.
I have been experimenting by opening an empty special kit and adding cymbals to it and have saved it as Cymbalistic. I realised I have no idea how to rename or delete it if I decide to. How do I do that?
