I figured it out!!!

Going from Jamstix3 to Jamstix 4 resulted in the ride symbol playing the wrong note. (or at least in my ear). Ralph pointed me in the right direction.
In Jamstix 3 the Jamstix note[12] played note 60.
In Jamstix 4 the Jamstix note [12] plays note 62.

If i edit the mdmap files locate here:
C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\midimaps\Addictive Drums 2
change this: 12=62,60,86,84 ;Ride
to this: 12=60,62,86,84 ;Ride

Can you use without problem the midimap with any AD kit or do you need to do extra editing for some kits?

You only need to edit the one file that you are choosing.

However if you want this change to be part of all the ad2 maps the all the files in the "Addictive Drums 2" folder need to edited if you want to implement this change. Alternately, you can even create your own map file as you see fit.

I am a preset guy and seldom dive deep into the bowels of how this all works, but it is very easy to alter or create a midi map file.

In my case it made me very happy to do this with the Ride Cymbal, Usually in the chorus sections.

What I meant, is if you are actually able to use all your AD kits without problem or do you need always to be editing files to correctly adjust JS to AD.

Thanks for the catch! The next update will have AD2 maps adjusted accordingly.
