| I could do 9/8 and another 6/8 but then I'd need a grouping feature or else I'd have to create all these little parts. Looking forward for the next release. |

I take it then that that example has sparked your interest in adding more odd meters to JS, then? |

Not visited the forum for a while; but, today, I needed some help as I've started a little thing in 15/8 unawares that this has been a recent topic.
So, not sure how to proceed. The riff pattern is really a bar of 7/8 then one of 8/8.
So, is there a quick process in Jamstix to tackle this?
I've got Reaper running the whole song in 15/8 but it will be a pain to have to split up time sig changes for every bar, in both Jamstix and Reaper
Sorry Ralph! |

| I have this problem a lot and I hope Jamstix 4 is a little more flexible in this regard. I have some pretty screwed up methods for coming up with melodies, chords and grooves which often ends up in some very peculiar meters. 14/8, 15/8 and so on. I've just gotten used to cutting and pasting parts around to make it work but it's very tedious. |
