In the Power section of the Song Sheet (where you control the power of each part) there is a check box all the way to the right at the top and next to each part. What is this for?

I looked over the manual in the Song Sheet section but could not find anything. Also looked in the LiveLoop section and didn't see anything there either.

1) If you check the "Song" check box, you can move all power levels to the same level.

2) If you have already varied them individually, you can check that and reset them all to the same level with one slider.

Thanks for the reply AZ.

Ok. That's what I thought it was for.

However, all that is needed to do that is grab the song power level and all the levels more together regardless if the boxes are checked or not. And what this amounts to is, the checks don't mean anything at all.

I also thought that maybe the parts with a check would follow the song power level so that you could make adjustments to only parts that are selected. IOW, when there are checks on four parts of a song and not on the other four parts, and you move the Song Power slider with a check, all parts with checks would follow the main power slider.

Am I understanding this correctly?

Wanted to add:

This feature of the Song Sheet is really a great feature. Works well. Allows a song to be built and to come back and adjust the Power level of parts so the song has dynamics. And it's done so easily with this power slider!!

The Power adjustment in the Bar Editor is also a great feature.

The more I learn the ins and outs of this program, I love it more and more!!

You're right. For some reason I remembered it working differently, maybe it did during beta testing, I don't know. The only purpose the Song check box serves as it is now is to enable or disable all check boxes and all song part power levels at once.
I agree with you 100%, the individual song part power level adjustments is a huge improvement for Jamstix.
