Don't have time to go into all the things that I am learning/finding out about how very powerful and versatile Jamstix is. But this will be the software that I will now reach for when starting a new song.

I will elaborate more later.

Great Job Team Rayzoon!!

I've been using JS since 2010 and I still discover new things a fair amount of the time. As I've said before JS is a dream I had a long time ago come true.

Yes.

I have a song I have been working on for a while now. Mostly because I have never gotten the 'feel' correct for the drums. If the drums ain't right the song just seems so lifeless.

Well with JS4 I have been able to get that feel I was looking for using a standard kick on 1 & 3 and snare on 2&4 and playing with the Shuffle and Timing in the Song Part section.

Now once I was able to get that going, it wasn't nothing to create the rest of the song. Just clicking a Part and telling JS4 to create a new part is wonderful. I mean this really speeds up the whole writing process.

Then after I have the whole song created, I played along with it and recorded a scratch track. Then listening and going over each part of the song, I found some of the hits weren't exactly where I wanted. Or wasn't the way I wanted them. With the Bar editor it's really easy to go back and adjust things just the way I want them!!

That Bar editor is really a great feature. The power to adjust the hits to exactly the way you want is priceless! I am serious. With EZD2 you can adjust how many hits are being played, but have no control over the which hits, or how that hit is played. It's like a all or nothing deal. With the Bar Editor in JS4, I can get exactly what I need and the way I want it!!

Can't really say enough good things about it!!
