I can't believe I haven't run into this before.

I have a song that ends with an abrupt whole-band double tap. At the time the song ends there are two cymbals ringing - a crash and a ride - that were both struck with the right hand. I'd like my imaginary drummer to grab these cymbals.

I have tried to choke the cymbals in various ways, up to and including two chokes on each hand at various times in the beat or three following the end of the song. I'm getting the crash but not the ride.

There's no shortage of inelegant workarounds available (like automating the volume on the track just so I can bring it down to nothing at the end) but it seems like there should be a simple solution to this. Is there?

As far as I know the Ride cannot be choked. A crash should choke properly with a choke on the opposite hand.

No, JS4 does not choke rides. You can choke two crashes/splashes/chinas at the same time by placing their hits on opposing limbs, not the same limb, and then choking both on both limbs at the same tick.

As a work-round, I'd change the ride hit to a different cymbal.

I'll also look into adding ride chokes to one of the next updates.
