Needs some help guys- I'm using Reaper and have installed JS4 but can't get it to play a song. JS appears to compose a song- I see little drum icons in the grid- but I get no sounds when I hit record in Reaper. I do have sound when I click on individual drums, but it doesn't get recorded either. A side problem is I can't change the colors of my kits- I'm wondering if this is an indication that something is not properly loaded. Ultimately I'm trying to get JS4 to run Superior drummer 2, but for now I'd be happy just to get JS running. A related problem is the JS samples sometimes are crackly and behind the click (latency problem).

Fooled with JS some more last week- I had loaded both VSTi plugin versions (32 bit, 64 bit) - I noticed in the install instructions said not to do that- so I deleted the 32 bit plugins. Now I can compose a song, hear it play, and record it. Only thing is it doesn't start on the first bar - it starts on the 3rd or 4th bar, but when it loops around it will start at the intro the 2nd go around. Also did get it to play/record SD2 samples by sending midi to a second track. The drum color issue is somewhat resolved by changing the room and minimizing the various options, but there are still more blues and greens than I prefer-not real important anyway. The scratchy sounds have cleared up abit also by minimizing processor load. Running Win7 on I-3 processor with 8Gb memory, with Reaper, JS4 and SD2 open. Will experiment more this week. Thanks.
