| Does anyone happen to know how many different sample layers/variations Jamcussion uses for each instrument? I'm looking for a quality tambourine and shaker solution for my tracks, and I need it to sound totally realistic. Thanks! |

It depends on the sound. Jamcussion tambourine and shakers have single velocity layer but 3 to 4 round robin samples. In addition, the JC tambourines have an alternate sound that simulates the 'back stroke' (lighter sound when the tambourine is moved back from the hand). The standard Jamstix tambourine has 3 velocity layers.
Jamcussion shakers have, on average, 3 velocity layers plus 3 round robin samples per layer. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
