It's the slider labeled 'Eighths' in the hihat panel. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| I found where it is located thanks for the quick reply. So what exactly are you doing when you move the slider to the right? I am still not sure what your controlling? |

It controls the probability of the eighths between quarters. Previously, if you checked the 'Eighths' box, the hihat would play on every eighths in between quarters. Now the probability slider can be used to filter some of them out. This is especially useful for shuffled rhythms in jazz and swing. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph
The "eights" probability slider is a great new feature, and one that I would have asked about.
I know that you don't want sliders for everything, but would you consider having a slider for snare ghost strokes?
At present you can turn them on and off, and vary the velocity, but it would be great to be able to introduce a randomness (is that a word?) to the ghost stroke playing.

| i second that request for a ghost snare slider -- it's a really nice effect, but i hardly ever use it because then i get too many of them.... |

We are planning multiple ghost stroke patterns for Jamstix 2. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
