If you are running XP SP2 and 'Data Execution Protection' (DEP) is enabled for user programs in your Windows settings (Control Panel->System->Advanced->Performance/Data Execution Prevention), Jamstix may crash.

Please disable DEP for your host(s) as follows:

• Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
  
• On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
  
• On the Data Execution Prevention tab, click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select and then select your host application(s)
  

Alternatively, you can disable DEP for all but system services.
