Hello Ralph,

Loaded X6-8 this morning. I really like the mode readouts and the closed hats on the upbeats. Have a couple of questions.

1. I'm listening to X6-8 thru minihost. I check the 'flip stereo' box. I'm guessing that this flips the stereo image of the internal sounds. However, I don't hear any difference even after reloading jamstix in minihost.

2. Previously, when using Jamstix X6-6 with Drumatic 3, I noticed a problem. After loading the Drumatic 3 .dll, I programmed an arrangement. This arrangement had mutes on bar 1 and bar 2. When I reopened the arrangement and pressed play, the arrangement would stumble when it reached the mute on bar 2. It would then jump to somewhere in bar 3 to play the programmed measure. However, when I stopped and restarted the arrangement, it played OK as if it learned that a mute was programmed in bar 2. Just wondering if this also happens in other .dll's.

3. Third question concerns the kick sound in DrumPak 1. I've had to lower the sustain to get a workable sound. However, when I do this I seemed to be locked into a corner with the sound. At this point, there's not very much I can do to alter the sound. Pitch changing doesn't seem to give me enough options. It would be nice if you could come up with one killer bass drum sample. One that has the 'thud' mixed in with a good 'beater' sound. I'm writing some dance songs that require that solid four on the floor sound. One great and flexible kick would really complete your jamstix internal sounds.

BTW, I'm using Cubase. Thanks....

Thanks for the catch! X6-8 was flipping the panned close mic but not the stereo ambience mics. X6-9 was just released and fixes this.

Which host is that in and could you send us a FXB file for replication here?

We are currently working on DrumPak #2 that will have a tight kick sound with more beater overtones much like what you are describing. This Pak should be available before the holidays.
