Hello Jamstix experts!

I'm using Jamstix in MultitrackStudio, and would like to output the 8 Jamstix mixer channels to MTS as .wav files. I've searched the forum but can't seem to find a straightforward answer. How can this be done?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Jamstix doesn't have the ability to export .wav files. I can only recommend recording the output channels of Jamstix within MTS. I have never used it so can't offer much help on exactly how to do that, though. Perhaps MTS has some sort of a Batch Export function to create .wav files for multiple audio channels at once?

It's easy to produce separate wave files in REAPER from Jamstix. Just click insert vst instrument to make a new track and REAPER asks if you want to make separate outputs for each channel. Now if you make sure the Jamstix mixer is set for 8 outputs then you have separate channels in REAPER mixer for bass drum, snare, Hi-hats, toms etc plus ambience in channel 8. You can also save this multitrack Jamstix template for instant recall at any time later.

I have no experience of MultitrackStudio though but something similar should surely be possible

railway_mark,
Check the link below. I thinks that's what you're looking for.

Thanks, Andre! Your method worked without a hitch. However, I have just one question: is it necessary to create stereo destination tracks for channels such as overheads, which contain more than one kit piece and are panned?

Thanks in advance!
