I finally got to see the Foo Fighters last Friday in Cincinnati. One of the best concerts I have ever gone to, and I have gone to a lot. They are one of the truly great American Rock bands. How Dave Grohl can shred his voice like that night after night is beyond me. He is one funny dude also.
My only gripe, which is true of most concerts, is why do the FOH guys think it is necessary to push the PA harder and harder until it sounds like s*** by the end of the show? |

Completely agree. Back in the mid eighties or so, Joe Jackson performed a concert in Berlin with the 'Body & Soul' album material, and the story goes that the volume was so "low" (aka normal) that someone in the audience yelled "LOUDER!" and Joe said "You just need to listen more".
