the algorithmik generator of jamstix create it. i do not remember that i add myyself hihit 25%, hihat 75%, or shank closed, shank open, shank 50%. i only add in songs Snare offset or snare bounce, snare double.
All this articulations play no sound in addictive drums. it is also usefull for jamstix 4 to have a better map. I see Addcitive drums have Hihat open A hihat open B upto D. so i use then for hihat 25% B. for 75% hihat D.
biggest problem is that lots of double notes happen and trigger same note 1-2 ms later, this give phase effects and sound not good.
with builtin drum engine in jamstix work all ok. |

That sounds like a midi routing problem to me. Do you have MIDI thru active somewhere in your vstis? |

no routing problem. i notice jamstix internal engine have problem too. but it is very few hear. effect is as 2 drummer play 2 base drums and sound fuller. it happen when i play with jamstix button enable preview current bar in loop. the first basedrum come double. maybe addictive drums do quantisation or so and note come later, or its better hear because of more attack click in addictive.
I find how can avoid this. time vary need set to 0 and pocket need to be at least -2 or pocket >14 ms. betweeen them are clicks due to double notes. I use custom rock Aaron Brain on rf is in 1. step a base drum. the other are machine gun effects in addictive drums. for snare roll |

what drum software other than strike have bounce for good sounding snare rolls ?
I use in patterns often 1 bounce 1 free 1 bounce
und how can get choke working in addictional drums or other, i see no note number in jamstix to output choke. addictional drums have a key for choke |

I have no idea. Jamstix' articulations work fine for me.

In the Kit window drop down menu choose "Show Key Map" and the assigned keys for the loaded kit are shown. Cymbal choke is normally Note #1 C#0. |

thanks, i find it. the good news is, files are text. there is a .keymap file and a j2k file that contain midikey. seem keymap file is not need because it contain no midi channel information. in keymap file the only that have entry snare bounce is steven slate drums 4
at the beginning of a j2k file are ch_xx . seem here need add number for choke key |

| The Key Map file is generated when you have a kit and a player loaded. It will change based on those 2 things. So if there is no Snare Bounce note assigned, then Snare Bounce is not used with that combination. |
