OK time to finally post about some issues.
Windows 8, Tracktion.
First and foremost.
In one song in particular (just lost two hours worth of work) if I try to save, it says to stop the host or unlock from it before saving. The host isn't playing, jamstix isn't muted or on loop or anything. I'm unable to save. Help...!?
Second.
If I hit the save button and then hit the red cross to close jamstic prior to saving, everything hangs. Nightmare.
Third.
When I hit the down arrow to bring up the menu in order to save... it takes a good 5-10 seconds for the menu to appear. Why so long? Drives me crazy!
Thanks,
Thomas |

First point:
The problem is that as soon as I hit the play button in the host... after that point (host now stopped) I can't select bars or anything in jamstix and it then gives me the message I said if I try to save.
So annoying. Never experienced it before - took 6 days off work to work on this. Grr! |

OK, I've solved point 1.
The clue was that I couldn't hear drum sounds when the DAW was stopped. I remember I had this issue before. I needed to tick "Run Audio Engine When Stopped" Tracktion options. So annoying!
That leaves points 2 & 3. |
