Hello everybody,
over time I got Jamstix, the XL version, the AI Pack and lately Jamcussion...
It works very nicely in for the regular 4/4 songs I set up, but now I'm trying to build a "modern jazz" mockup drum track that should sound something like this

and I don't know a) if it's possible and b) how in case to obtain that feel.
The upbeat snare hits can be manually edited, but I am not able to achieve a similar light ride/snare/bass drum "ambient"
Each time the 4/4 rock/funk etc beats pop out and I'd prefer less "character"...
Is that possible in some way? Where should have I to go and explore?

Since you have AIPak, you should try the 'Custom Jazz' style (Elvin preset) with 'Peter' as the drummer.
