|
|
In am running JS3 on a laptop set to max resolution. In the drum grid window - lower right - I can hear the crash cymbal (and ride for that matter) but I cannot scroll down to actually see it in the grid...I can see the hi-hat snare kick, but the cymbal instruments seem to be off screen below the bottom edge...
is there any way to resize the grid window? |

| I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. The "grid" (Bar Editor) shows Limbs not instruments. The cymbals would be in the LH or RH row. If you mean that the Cymbal hits are not visible in the Bar Editor, it could be because of the Brain element or Part type they were created by. |

The Bar editor also shows the instruments IIRC. On the left side, you should see the limbs like LH, RH, RF, LF, etc... as you noted. on the Grid is where you see the actual kit piece I thought... maybe that is was you were saying and i did not understand. can you elaborate on the last statement about the Brian element and Part type?
miden_1 did you look at the fill tab to see if Start Crash or End Crash of the fill is unchecked?
do you own jamcussion? sometimes i find that i if i create a song and forget to load a silent kit in jamcussion, it is also creates hits. but that is usually more than just on hit though.

Ahhh, so that screen is just the limb screen, cool.
I foudn that I can adjust the cymbals using the mixer, so that sorts it out short term. Long term I need tolearn how to edit the parts so I can actually remove notes where I want to.
Thanks for the responses guys, muhc appreciated |

Intro and ending part types will sometime create hits that do not appear in the Bar Editor I have found. Regarding the Brain Element, there are three separate windows (Groove, Accent & Fill) that each have their own Brain Elements and they each need to be checked. I probably could have worded that better
You are right that the Bar Editor does show icons for a given instrument. I just usually don't pay attention to them because they're too small and I usually do very little hand editing. |
