Hey all,

I've just recently moved to Mac and am elated to see Jamstix working on OSX after much anticipation. I've been trying to use the VST with the latest version of Bitwig (1.35 I think) but whenever I click on the Jamstix window it won't respond and then disappears from view. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or should I just wait for an update?

I get this same behavior in a number of hosts, but not all. It seems to have something to do with something that is bringing the DAW's application main window in front of the plugin window. So for example, you pull up the jamstix gui and click on the kit name in order to select a different kit, the jamstix window gets hidden behind the DAW's main window (which is usually in full screen mode). That is what happens in logic anyway. But click again and it comes back.

when I put jamstix inside patchworks, it just plain disappears, but then click again and it comes back. It means having to click twice for every mouse click you normally need to do, once for the action and once to bring the GUI back.

Works completely trouble free in Digital Performer, for some reason. So its not happening inside all hosts, but it definitely happens in a few of them. You can at least get things going by just clicking twice. Don't double click. You have to click, pause a sec and click again, so it doesn't get read as a double-click.
