I'd like to finish a song with a drawn-out, fading to silence cymbal sound - can anyone tell me if such a thing exists in any of the styles? I've auditioned lots of fills and endings but can't find anything suitable.

If you mean like a cymbal wash, then I created a custom rhythm with just the cymbals playing and the used the volume envolopes in my multitrack software to fade it out
