That would not be trivial to do. I'll look into it when I get a chance.

Hi
I think this is also what I am looking for. I am using Jamstix in Reaper and for playing live I switch between "sections" in Reaper. My songs don't have a particular verse/chorus structure so I would like Jamstix to carry on throughout the song making different fills etc. while I change the dynamics manually with the power knob. What of course happens is that Jamstix lines up with the bar via song position pointer so I get the same drums repeating for each section. Using the "unlock" on Jamstix just stops the drums. So yes, clock and no SPP sounds good. I would just load up Jamstix with enough bars to see me through the song.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, Why not disable "Liveloop Autoadvance" and assign a midi key to the "Fill Trigger" options in Options> Jamming. That way your song can stay on, and keep repeating the same part as long as you like, while you can create varied fills when needed.

Hi
Thanks for that and sorry for slow reply. The liveloop idea sounds good but depends on me triggering the fills. I like Jamstix to be almost like a real drummer and completely do its own thing (well, within loose limits that is). I don't understand drumming so I like to trust to someone or something to do it for me!
Cheers
Paul
