thanks for the reply! ...i mean just a single "part"..those little blocks in the timeline with the numbers on them...i am wanting to shorten the bar by taking out just to 2 parts but cannot figure out how to do it...

Hi, each of those "parts" is a bar. All you need to do is right click the bar you want to delete then Edit>Delete Bar. If that's not what you need let me know. This only works with version 3.61 and higher.
