Hello,

I’m trying to manually lay down some kick notes, but JS is canceling some. Is there a way to force them to play? – I have no other drums at this point and I have power and dynamics all the way up.

I read about the "reduction" brain setting, but I don't know where that is.

Thank You for the help

If you hover over the crossed out kick, it will tell you which brain element is cancelling it. You could delete that element altogether or adjust it. Likely you are experiencing the "skipped kicks" element (Stewart?). Just adjust the slider all the way down.
