I haven't use the audio jamming feature for years and since I've recently tried I can't get it to work. Yes, I've done the necessary routing with 8audio and there is a signal been registered but the power level on Jamstix doesn't response. I've also selected the jamming tab.
Has this feature changed?
Thanks |

Have you got the Jamstix M8 plug in on your audio input signal? _________________ EMU 1820M user |

Yes, I've used it many times and I'm no novice with Jamstix. I do get a signal reading on the m8> But there is no response from the Jamstix GUI....?
Thanks |

| How are you seeing an audio signal on Audio M8? There is no meter or signal indicator on mine. It does work for me with my set up in Reaper. What OS, DAW & JS version are you using? |

Have you gone into options, clicked Jamming, and checked the audio trim is high enough to drive power dial? _________________ EMU 1820M user |

If your AudioM8 has a meter display you are using an old version that will not work with v3.6:

2. Please bring back some form of metering on Audiuom8. It closes the loop between seeing what the actual signal level is and how the audio jamming settings affect the power knob.
This may have to wait until JS4. We're just way behind the curve right now.

OK, that makes more sense. So do I presume that those who are still using this feature are using an older update version? If so could someone please suggest a previous version I can revert back to...
Many thanks for your replies |

There is an updated AudioM8 plugin included in the latest version of Jamstix. You probably have both in the same folder and your DAW is loading the old one. I would search your computer for all files named AudioM8.dll and delete all but the one with the newest date. If that doesn't work, delete them all and re-run your Jamstix 3.61 installer. This is what the current AudioM8 looks like:
PS, The extra buttons in the Title Bar are not part of AudioM8, it is a from a window management program I run. |

That's it. I actually had the old one in the Jamstix install folder and even though the new one was in my vstplugin folder the old one over-rode the new one.
I appreciate the time you took to help me out with this.
Thanks |
