|
|
Hi - I did the CTRL-Left Click-Drag from the song name in JS to a MIDI track in Cubase. It was a very simple song, Kick/Snare/Drumstick (RH) which looks right in the bar editor, and plays correctly in Jamstix.
But when I examine the MIDI file in Cubase, that drumstick is gone (kick/snare is accurate).
At the start of all this, I did enable the "GM" option in the drum module mode dialog.
This made me wonder if other important things might not have made it into the MIDI track, like the "off-the-grid" hits that make Jamstix so valuable, or things like "Hi Hat Choke", etc.
I can see the latter possibly not being part of the GM Drum list, but I did expect the "drumsticks" to be at least exported into the MIDI file and appearing when I created it by CTRL-dragging the name into Cubase.
Any idea what I did wrong?
Thanks! _________________ Alexis

Please do a 'Save Song' in Jamstix for this project and send me the file. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph, I will look for that specific project (should have book-marked it ), will send it when I find it. In the meantime, I've just been recording the MIDI instead of the drag, which of course works fine. _________________ Alexis
