Ralph,
Is there a way to get under the covers and edit out notes that are playing that are not shown in the grid anywhere? I have a song where "rogue" cymbals and toms are being played here and there and it is kind of frustrating. I guess I can finish letting Jamstix do its thing, then render the midi and hand edit out the problems, but I would rather be able to get at the actual midi score under the covers right in Jamstix and fix the problem.
Thanks. |

Here is a thread about it but the only way I have ever found to clear them is to recreate the part from scratch.

Thanks jas_lan, I will try out a couple things from that thread. I really don't want to clear the bar because it has a fill that I tweaked to "perfection".
Ralph, it would be really nice to have an "advanced mode" that would show us the raw midi grid so we can fix these kinds of things. Not sure if this would be possible, but getting at the bare data might be helpful. Maybe a simpler approach would be to let us do a single bar export of the midi and then reimport the fixed version back in? |

You should save your perfect fill to file, just in case. This would also allow you to clear/recompose the bar and then reload the fill. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
