| Can anyone explain how the time shift feature in the song parts window differs from the pocket control in the brain section? |

According to the manual the slider in the song sheet varies the Jamstix time in relation to the host. To me this means it actually changes the position of the beat. In the pocket, the beat is still in the same spot, the player is just playing behind or in front of it.
Honestly, I can't think of a case where the difference would matter but there could be a reason for it. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61. Komplete 8. Jamstix 3.6. Absolute 3 VST. 418 Carrier Landings.

Correct, the timing sliders in the song sheet move ALL notes forward or backward by the SAME amount. This is useful if there is a timing issue with the host or host material.
The 'feel' settings in the brain move notes individually by different amounts. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
