As I understand it, the Min Power slider under the Power Hand will set the threshold for the Power Knob setting at which hi-hat hits will be converted to ride cymbals or other kit pieces.

However, the possible Power Knob values run from 0-100%, and the possible Min Power values run from 0-127. Let's suppose I want the Power Hand function to engage when the Power Knob is 80% or higher. Since there is no one-to-one correspondence between the knob and the slider, how will I know the proper setting for the slider?

BTW, I am fascinated by this program, and very happy that I decided to give it a try. There is definitely a learning curve, but the end result will be the closest thing to a real drummer I've yet found. And I expect that result to be fairly easy to achieve per project once I am up to speed. No more will I flit from pillar to post in search of realistic drums.

Sorry about that, we will fix the hint display for the slider to show percentage in a future update. For now, please use POWER KNOB*1.27 to get the slider value.

Thank you for your kind words about Jamstix!

I intend to automate the Power Knob via Sonar, and for that I will use MIDI values running from 0 to 127. So if both the Power Knob and the Power Slider are in percentages, I will still have to use the conversion factor to set my automation level properly.

No biggie, actually, and there is obviously some value in having both functions use the same scale.

Of course, you could instead set both to a 0-127 scale, but maybe that presents other problems?

Thanks for your attention to this. I'm pleased that I, a mere noob, could make a suggestion which is apparently of some use.
