I would like to have a bass track trigger one instances of Jamstix, while the guitar track triggers a separate track.
I'm presently experimenting with using audiom8 on just the bass track, with a separate instance of Jamstix - this seems to work a lot better, for a number of reasons.
But it would cool if I could get the effect of using audioM8 with the guitar track to trigger the top of the kit without disturbing the kick.
.. and does audioM8 respond to RMS level, or is it filtered?

Not sure I understand "trigger the top of the kit without disturbing the kick." Can you elaborate?
audioM8 averages volume using an evelope follower scheme, unfiltered. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I want the guitar track to govern the hats/cymbals/snare, and the bass just the kick. Or rather, have the ability for the hats/ride to not follow the bass...
Thanks for the info about filtering, I was curious about whether it would be worthwhile to experiment with pre-equing the bass/and/or a guitar track as input. |

There is no way to separate the audioM8 effect on individual kit elements. Also, remember that audioM8 only affects dynamics and associated switch rules. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
