Hi,

I just bought the full Xl package, and installed it on my MBP 2013, running Mavericks. The installation went through just fine. No problems reported whatsoever.

When I insert JS in a track, loading a song via the Wizard, and hit play in Live, everything starts rolling as expected, but I get no sound.

A few observations, that might help:

A: While the song plays, the "Voices" indicator (bottom right) shows 000 all the way through.

B: When I hit the drum set with the mouse - no sound either.

C: JS never reports any sounds missing, or any other error messages.

D: When the cursor arrives at the respective sound/instrument to be triggered, it produces a red X!? It does so for all sounds of the song.
I have klicked my way through the various routing options. Didn't do!
I have re-installed. Didn't do either!

E: Checking permissions I get the answer that the Application support folder has issues. Expected lrwxr-xr-x, is rwxr-xr-x.

F: Also, when I load JS from the Apple Audio - something folder, instead of the VST, it will load, but when I klick the interface, it simply disappears.

G: Checking the respective folders for the VST, aso. I can`t find the darn thing!? It's listed in my app's folder though.

Soooooo, I hope that'll make my "situation" clear! I am 20y vet in digital recording realm, though I just recently moved over to Apple (???), and this makes me really mad.

Nevertheless - Have a wonderful day!

Martin

Not sure about the OSX version but on Windows you have to "install" the sound paks. Did you do that?

Yup, the JamstixManager installs each and everything automatically, quite nicely, and reports it to be up-to-date!

The issue was resolved via an update, which will be made available soon as 3.6.1.
