I often use a Max4Live device that randomises MIDI timing but I have only been using values about half those in the quote. Time to turn it up! |

| The more interesting aspect, IMHO, is the fact that it's not really random, but that a player will use the same offset for (x) amount of time, then switch to a different offset. |

I think that using JS Bach, which is typically pretty rigid in practice, is a curious choice for this demonstration...  |
