Hi
I would be pleased if anybody can tell me (or eventually if Ralph put it on the wish list, if it doesnt exist...) how to interact with JS from my DAW (I use ableton Live 9)

For instance - I want to make a 32 bar song, and I drag the JSVST into a track. Normally i do drum programming in the drum grid, but vith JS, I just let it jam along. But after 7 bars, I want a fill. I would be happy if I could tell JS to make a fill, without having to move between the JSVST and my DAW - i.e. having a MIDI controller track for the JSVST, where all the JS automation parameters is exposed. I could then choose the"Drum fill" controller, and enable (select it "on") for a bar or two, or tweek the dynamics parameter, etc.

Is that possible?

You can right-click on many control elements in Jamstix and map them to a MIDI controller. Also, in the OPTIONS, you can set a MIDI key to trigger fills.
