It appears that if I plan to export a MIDI performance to use with another drum VI, I have to select the keymap for that other drum VI BEFORE starting the Jamstix composition. Is this correct? I was just wondering if there's any way where I've got a full song composition that I really like, but I decide after the fact that I want to get the MIDI out of JS for another drum VI - can JS just convert the already composed MIDI to the specific drum VI by my selecting its keymap?

You can adjust anytime as follows:

- select desired key map
- Click Song Menu->Clear->Clear Buffers
- play the whole song (or do a mixdown/bounce) to get the new MIDI data
- export or drag MIDI
