Hey Ralph, you might like to check out the new product about to be released over at EastWest called PRODrummer, as its a kind of competitor I guess.
I immediately took a dislike to it when it was announced that it contains over 10,000 MIDI grooves. How on earth can that be the best way forward for finding the right rhythm. Jamstix is a much more user-friendly product! |

| Even EZDrummer 2 looks better than that! |

Sorry, not to be a naysayer here, but this ProDrummer brings nothing new to the table that the other 40+ drum sample plugins don't already bring. Just including thousands of MIDI grooves or millions or billions of MIDI grooves doesn't do anything for the artist if there isn't an intuitive way of going about building your groove other than searching through thousands of MIDI grooves to hopefully stumble on something. The only ones out there right now who are thinking like that are Jamstix, Logic's Drummer, and the forthcoming EZ Drummer 2. And only Jamstix has the level of control over fine detail that it does. |

| Yes I agree with you stpete111, I don't think Jamstix has any real competitor. |
