|
|
Fir the life of me I can not get the drums out of seperate channels...
I'm on the kit page, from the drop down menu I select output routing 8..I have installed JS plus a midi track via the F11 button (instrument rack) and activated all outputs so that should be it..no?
what have i missed, all my other drum VST's load like this except this system is easier because all the outs are done in one click..don't have to assign each drum part to a track..
so what have I missed please?

Make sure 'Downmix' is not checked in the JS3 mixer. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Same problem here, but only with my MetalPak drum sets (Natural Tight for example). In the mixer all drums ends up in channel 1 and I (of course) want to be able to mix each drum separately. "Downmix" is not checked.
Why is it, that the MetalPak drum sets bundles upp the drums like this, when orther drum sets is not? Confusing... |

Radoka: kits use various output schemes by default. Just use the kit routing templates at the top of the kit menu to set it to what you like AFTER loading the desired kit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok, next problem. When I do that (for example "Set Output Routing - 4 - Kick, Snare, Tomas, Cymbals) I can only hear the kick. But I can se the levels moving in the mixer.
My normal usage is this: In the Jamstix mixer I mute everything but one channel at a time to downmix kick, snare, hihat, toms and cymbals to different audio tracks in Reaper. This is what I want to do. |

| In Reaper, just right click the TCP and choose "Insert virtual instrument on new track". The routing will be taken care of for you. Make sure that "Downmix" is off in Jamstix. |
