Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is possible or I'm missing something but when I'm using liveloop in reaper and I jump to a part later in the song, jamstix jumps but Reaper stays where it was in the timeline.
It's not a huge deal but if I'm using automation, then things don't line up anymore. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using jamstix 3.5 and Reaper 4.9 x32 |

Hi, vst only allows for host to plugin communication as far as I know.

Correct, hosts do not jump to a song position commanded by a plugin. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Is rewire a solution? I ask, because that is how Waves Tune works in Reaper. When I click the timeline in Tune, the song position in Reaper follows it.

Ok cool, thanks for the response guys. I think I will use actions to or something to have reaper and Jamstix jump to the same parts. Maybe put markers at the beginnings of choruses, verses, etc or something. We used Jamstix for the first time live at church today and all worked out well.

Using markers and actions to go to specific markers would probably be the easiest way to do it IMO. I use a FCB-1010 for that and it works really well. A wireless keyboard works well also.

Thanks for the confirmation! And thats kinda funny I just bought a fcb1010 last week. So far its proved very useful. I also just ordered the Uno chip for it so it will be even more useful.
