| Sorry if this has been answered before, but, if I use automation to control the timing in Jamstix, does the individual sliders still affect the timing of the individual song parts???? |

With 3.6.0, the VST automation 'Timing' is added to the timing of the part and note. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Not sure I'm following you Ralph....
I've already got an automation envelope in an older song/project I'm trying Beta 14 out on...In spots, the timing is off, & moving the automation points doesn't seem to help much, unless I move the slider in the Jamstix gui...Am I doing this correctly, should I be using just the automation envelope, the sliders (part or global), or all??? |

I'd recommend setting song/part timing sliders to zero if you are using VST automation timing. If that still leads to issues, send me a test project to check out. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's what I'd been doing with all versions....Seems it just started acting up with the new beta...I'll give a little while & see what happens before I do anything, I should've asked this question ages ago really ....
On the new beta, I do like the new menu system much better, drag-n-drop was missed greatly, & I really like the new gui/appearance too....I know there's still some bugs/glitches for you to work out, but, no hurry or pressure from me, "regular" 3.5 works great, & it could be something on my end, as I might need to re-load my os...
I'm still learning the program too, even though I've owned JS for almost 2 years now, it seems I learn something just about everday/every time I use it!!!
Thanks for all your hard work, dedication & really quick responses to all our questions/etc Ralph...Really means a lot to have customer/technical support of this level & quickness....Thanks again!!!
While I'm at it, are there gonna be any more tutorials for JS in the future??? That would surely help someone like me a great deal...(hint hint)... |
