Sorry if these have been answered or if I am missing something obvious. Two questions:

1. I've looked but have not found an explanation of how Jamstix treats each of the different part types: C, V, X, M... etc.

2. When I am adding a part to an existing song (i.e., not creating a new song using the Wizard), is there a way to designate the part to be one of these types? Under the "New Part" sub-menu, I see an option to "Create Intro," "Create Chorus," and "Create Ending." However I don't see any way to create a new part as, let's say a Verse, a Middle 8, etc.

Thanks.

An explanation of song builder types will be in the manual for Jamstix 3.6.
All song builder types will be available in the 'Add Part' menu in Jamstix 4.

Ralph now that Jamstix 3.6.0 Beta 13 Available does this mean the manual is too or close to available?

I really love Jamstix but I also know that there is so much more to it that I cannot seem to unlock.

An updated manual and more of the demo videos would go a long way for me.

Part type explanation is in the 3.6.0 manual. I'll email it to you.
