Hi, right clicked on a song part and chose>new part>before this part and typed in "silence" in the window that appeared..but JS is playing a pattern...
I don't get it, what have I missed please?

Choose "Silent" style and drummer for the part you created.

Ok thanks..I wonder if you can help with another area of confusion for me...If I right click on a part and choose new part before this part and then type in "Middle-8" I don't get a Middle 8...so not sure what the window is for..what is the point of typing something in it but you don't get it..love this VSTi but often get very confused with it..wouldn't it be amazing to be able to drag and drop the "parts"..

Part naming is free form so you can use something that is descriptive for you.

'Middle 8' is only used by the song builder at the moment. Jamstix 4 will feature all song builder parts as options under 'Add Part'.
