Hi
Is there an option to output MIDI data in GM format? It would obviously be a "kit" but so far i can't find any kits for that... I must be missing something! |

Jamstix internal kits are GM-mapped wherever possible. What are you experiencing that makes you think there is a problem? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| REAPER 4. I am a proficient Jamstix user so i know my way around MIDI routing etc. i just can't find a kit that outputs MIDI data in GM format. All the builtin kits don't output anything, possibly because i don't have any drum sounds installed in Jamstix. |

I believe i do. I remember that it says "beta 8" but if it's 3.5.0 or 3.5.1 i'm not exactly sure. I'll check when i get home.
small note about builtin kits not outputting MIDI - they're not so much "not outputting" as they are red-crossing every hit (as if the sound isn't assigned a note in the MIDI map). |

Just emailed you a kit file that is in GM2 and only has MIDI OUT to work-around the sound files not being installed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I have seen that Sonar's included drum sampler Session Drummer 3 is GM midi mapped.
Can anyone confirm this ? Everything seems to play fine loading JS3 kit, sending midi only out to SD3. However, maybe I am missing some articulations or hits ?

without being a hundred-percent sure, it indeed seems like the Session Drummer is GM-mapped and plays all notes that Jamstix creates! |
