Please reboot the machine. Also double-check the version of JS and audioM8.

Let me know if it doesn't help.

definately 1.32 and 1.3. tried reboot no difference. if i turn m8 off whilst the sequencer is running, the velocity stays high and the rhythm goes into a kind of half time type thing.

What host are you using and is this with a new project from scratch?

Just to make sure: please verify that the lock on the velocity slider is not closed.

Please make sure direct monitoring in cubase is disabled. (Devices-device setup-vst multitrack- uncheck direct monitoring)

If it still doesn't work, let's follow these steps:

- open Cubase, new project
- add an audio track and add audioM8 as an insert effect to it
- load a wave file into the audio track
- add Jamstix to VST rack, set to free jam and 'Jam With Audio'
- Press Play

If this doesn't work for you, does the audioM8 needle move? Does the tiny red LED in the right bottom corner of JS light up?
