Hi Ralph,
While trying out the new Drumpak sounds (which are really nice btw) I noticed I can only route the sounds to outputs 1 through 4.
Is there something I've missed ?
Ideally I'd want to have 5 separate mono outs for
- Kick
- Snare
- Sticks
- HiHat
- Ride
plus 3 stereo outs for
- Toms
- Crashes
- Percussion etc.
The mono outs could just as well be stereo, too.
No need for any FX, sliders, meters or stuff, just seperate "stupid" outs.
Can I do this atm, or are the additional outs only for hosted VSTis ?
Cheers, Rhino

Currently it is limited to outputs 1-4. We will have an enhancement in one of the next betas that will allow you to route to 1-17 (or whatever max is selected) but w/o console controls.

Hi Ralph,
sounds perfect !
The more I play around with JS's internal sounds and the new Drumpak, the more I like them.
If it were possible to treat them separately with external FX, they would be a good alternative to other (even higher priced) specialized drum libraries.
Great job, as always !

this might be a stoopid question, but if you have up to 17 ouptputs without console controls then how do you actually control them? are they then controlled in the host application? or is it a .ini file?
thanks for info!

Yes, you can control gain easily in the host application.

Beta X6-2 now supports sending internal sounds to all outputs:

Hi Ralph,
works great, as expected !
The JS sounds are really capable of pro results and quite flexible, given the right processing.
Just one tiny little question :
Would it be possible to synchronize the numbers on the output slider with the output numbers appearing in the SX mixer ?
And maybe rename the SX channels to something like JS Out 1 ?
Not a biggie, but would make mapping a bit more intuitive.
Thanks, Rhino

Looks like we have some similar equipment and desires too.
Channelnames like "JS out 1" would make things even easier.

BTW: Great Job done with the Drum Pack #1!!!
Thaks a lot!

X6-3 is now out which names outputs 'JS Out...' and fixes the numbering.

Hi Ralph,
over here in Germany we are looking for a new "Bundeskanzler" atm - we're in need of somebody who reliably delivers great solutions to people's problems. What about you ?
But wait, what would happen to Jam-xxx with Gerhard Schröder as chief designer and Angela Merkel as PR rep ?
Better leave things the way they are !
Very happy with JS,
Cheers, Rhino
