I have a specific kick/snare pattern that I want the drummer to use as the basis for a groove. I know how to import a midi groove and have the drummer use it as a style (I think), but I only want to import the midi playing the kick and snare, since the hats and such can be just a normal style. Will this work, and the drummer still play the rest of the kit?

I don't remember exactly which video on youtube covers this, and I can't check right now, but there is one where Ralph explains how to do this. I think it might be the "Import Midi" video towards the end of the video. Sorry I can't tell you exactly
Basically you save the kick and snare and re-import them for your chosen drummer to use.

Ok will try it. Didn't know if when imported the drummer would only play kick and snare.
