I'm doing a song for which I will pbasically use Jamstix for the grooves.

But the intro part for the drums is so specific, that I will play that one manually in the sequencer. This part will cover several bars.

What's the easiest way to have that part "imported" into Jamstix' bar editor in order to have drummer's brain refine the playing but basically keep the structure?

I don't want to put the part manually in the bar editor (using the mouse), but rather play it "live" initially.

Save the intro as a MID file and use the 'Import' style to have Jamstix play it.
