... outside the actual bar menu (sort of where it says LH, RH, etc.).
I think I figured out that I have to clear the limb for the bar to make them go away, but am I doing something wrong to make them appear in the first place?
Can I just ignore them, or is it more than a cosmetic disturbance?

"Funny you should ask ...".
A few weeks ago I did, but changed it back.
Is it something I can ignore, or should I somehow fix the display before problems develop down the road?

If possible, do a "Reset Song" in the song menu but it will trigger a full recompose. If that is not desirable, just leave that song as is, it won't produce ill effects.
