The click drag shown in the videos to select multiple hits at once ... works about once every ten tries on my system. I click so the hit is highlighted, but when I drag, the other hits don't get highlighted. Then, just often enough to keep me trying, it works sometimes.
I wondered if it might have to do with locked hits, but it happens even if I manually unlock the hits to test it out.
Anyone else have this problem, or is it just some weirdness on my system?
JS3.3, XP.

Yes. Since 3.5, I have always had trouble with the click and drag box selection process in the bar editor.
I usually resort to selecting each hit while holding down CTRL (or is it SHIFT?) to select multiple hits. "Quirky" is an excellent word to describe it. I remember wondering where I needed to start the corner of the box (i.e. ON the hit or outside of it, etc.) and it seeming to be inconsistent. But, bottom line is that I couldn't seem to get the hits selected that I wanted that way.

Bar editor selection is different in V3.5. You hold the mouse down and swipe over notes to have them selected. This allows for selecting notes that a simple selection rectangle (as in V3.3) cannot cover. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

AHA! Yes. It works exactly as you describe. Genius! Nice work Ralph!

That helped a lot, thx. I was trying to replicate a js3.5 video on js3.3 software, no can do!
Am I right that in js3.3 the drag selection only works when dragging from left to right? Seems that way in my machine, no biggie either way. _________________ Alexis

Yes, in V3.3 it's a selection rectangle dragged left to right. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
