Hello. I'm Using Sonar Producer 8 and JamStix 2 on Win XP sp3

Tonight< I tried to get JamStix to host my copy of Addictive Drums. I found the AD dll file, and opened it, and JamStix gave me an error message that said something like "can't load dll because dll requires at least 8 outputs. Increase the number of outputs in JamStix and relaunch JamStix to load dll".

So I close down JamStix, and relaunch JamStix, specifying to Sonar to create 8 outputs for JamStix. JamStix re-launches, and I change the setting on the JamStix Kit page to specify 8 outputs. I verify that the JamStix kick, snare, hat, etc are sounding thru different Sonar channels. The I try to reload the AD dll. Again I get the same error messages saying AD requires at least 8 outputs and JamStix can't host the pulg-in.

How do I correct this?

Thanks in advance.

Re-hire Nigel Olsson. ( sorry couldn't resist) You need to increase the number of outputs in Jamstix itself. It should be under options but I'm not familiar with JS2.

Hello. I think I said in my original post that after re-launching JamStix (specifying to Sonar to make 8 output channels for JamStix) that I changed the settings on the JamStix Kit page to specify 8 outputs, and verified that the kick, snare, hat, toms, etc were all sounding thru different channels in Sonar (i.e. on different outputs in JamStix).

Any other suggestions?

You sure did, sorry about that. Try setting it to 16 outputs instead and see if that corrects it. If not, I would e-mail Ralph directly. Sorry again for misreading your post.
