|
|
I have a tune I'm working on that starts out with a slow swing at 52 bpm at the beginning and after about 12 bars there is a temp change and the style changes to a samba at 102 bpm. There is a bar of silence for JS because I have a percussion intro to the samba part.
I currently have the latin kit loaded but what I would like to do is use the brush kit for the slow part and change the kit latin kit during the empty bar.
Currently the only way I can figure this out is to load the brush kit and drummer bounce the first few bars to new tracks and then load the latin kit back up and manually mute the first few bars in JS. Then bounce again the remaining part of the song.
Does anyone have a better Idea? _________________ Tom |

| I believe when I had a similar situation I used 2 instances of Jamstix, but I think I had problems with them working at the same time -- so I did basically what you're doing. But I left both instances (just didn't use them at the same time) so I could easily un-freeze one track and have all of that other track's JS settings there to edit if necessary. |

Yes, kit change is something we're looking at for JS4. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
