Hello,

Last week I created three songs with Jamstix 3.5. The drums sounded good and I mixed the song down to a wav. Everything was fine.

Today I opened the songs and clicked the playback button and the drums now sound different then what I had the previous week.

Now I can't seem to do anything to get it right again. I have the drums playing but they seem to be playing hear and there, skipping some beats.

When I play the song back, it seems to be putting an X on certain beats and then the next it it plays back those beats are removed...

It make the song sound terrible.

I'm lost as to what to do, anyone have advice?

I just tried creating a new song with the wizard.

I get no drums at all... Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I added shot3.gif to show the display. Find the screenshots at the link above.

Hello Ralph,

I've uploaded that file you asked for to http://marcelg.ca/jamstix/.

I hope that helps you out.

Hello,

In case this helps, I have been thinking about what might have changed on my system lately.

I wouldn't think that any of these things would affect jamstix, but I'm mentioning it just in case.

- I re-installed a PCI Raid Controller Card that I use for my backup hard drives because it had to be moved to another PCI slot due to my Graphics Card fan causing vibration noises
- I haven't been running an anti-virus program, but I installed the latest version of Avast
- Upgraded my Adobe CS 6 to the latest Creative Cloud versions
- Updated my nvidia graphics driver to the latest version which was recently released

I've been keeping an eye on my computers performance and it is not bogged down at all. There is lots of processing power and RAM available when I'm using Sonar X1d with Jamstix.

Could it be something related to me using the 3.5 Beta? I thought I'd use that since I'm running 64-bit Windows Vista.

It's just strange that it worked fine when I first installed it.

Thanks for helping me figure out what the problem might be.

Marcel
