Is it possible to have an old school rock type intro where the guitar solos a riff through 2 or 4 times and the drummer is just using the high hat (like La Grange by ZZ Top) or the kick (Hells Bells by AC/DC )behind it? Would a breakdown work better here rather than the stock Intros or maybe set 4 bars of silence and use the bar editor to add the hi-hat or kick?

Use the 'Intro' style, set to 'Hats' and UNcheck 'Last Bar Only'.
